Unique Newcastle band Knats bring an explosive 2025, which saw them release a debut album, support Geordie Greep and act as Eddie Chacon’s backing band, to a close with their new single, ‘Take A Seat On The Settee’. The band continue to explore their dynamic future vision for jazz through a collaboration with fellow Geordie noise-rockers lots of hands. It’s a genre-fluid track that blends the quintet’s surrealistic, experimental horn-forward sound with a misty, pseudo-orchestral harmonic landscape that feels just slightly out of focus throughout the indefinable track.
